My research focuses on the tuning of superconductivity and studying its mechanism:
Employing ionic liquid gating to induce superconductivity in two-dimensional semiconducting van der Waals materials, developing new device structures and studying the physics of two-dimensional superconductivity;
Developing in situ characterization techniques (electrical, magnetic, thermal, etc.) compatible with ionic liquid gating, and exploring quantitative scaling laws of crucial parameters during the evolution of high-temperature superconductivity.

Li Xu
My name is Xu Li. I come from Xingyang, Henan Province. I graduated from The University of Chinese Academy of Sciences with a bachelor's degree. Being positive, hard-working, brave, honest and friendly, I like to communicate and cooperate with others. I'm so obsessed with what I love that I often get carried away in my experiments. I can seamlessly switch between workaholic and social butterfly. My favorite sport is badminton.
Juan Xu
I'm from Jingzhou, Hubei province, I have a Sichuan appetite and prefer hot pot.I Usually stay at home and I'm fond of detective puzzle variety show, TV series and games. My athletic ability is relatively poor. I'm particularly interested in playing basketball, but I'm not good at it.
Jinsong Zhang
I am striving to become a theorist and devoting myself to the researches on high-Tc superconducting mechanism and transport behavior in quantum many body systems.
The anomalous transport behaviors have been widely reported in high temperature superconductors, graphene, and other unconventional materials. It is bound to be a long-term and challenging work understanding the origin of such 'strange metals' anomaly. Benefiting from the preparation of combinatorial films and high-throughput characterizations, a systematic material database is acquirable, and the extraction of details in anomalous transport becomes feasible and reliable. The initial work gave us a bird view of the possible correlation between superconductivity and ‘strange metals’, and the establishment of theory is crucial in the following work.
I finished my bachelor degree from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2019. Playing soccer has become my good way of regulating my mental and physical states in my schooldays, and I have played several games organized by departments and school as a regular. When I work alone, I always put myself in the music, helping me get inspiration. As an amateur mountaineer, I always put myself into challenges, and enjoy the scenery with ease along the way.

Sijia Tu
Hi, I'm Tu Sijia, a member of the SC2 family. Currently I do not have any interest; in fact, I am a little boring. I paly both table tennis and badminton, but to be honest, I am not good at them. In daily life, I like to stay at home, but sports act as my cup of tea. The goal of not being a fat indoorsy girl always inspires me to exercise. Besides, I am fond of regimen, and welcome everyone to discuss that with me.
